If you would like to change from your current salary packaging provider to RemServ, you can complete the Transition Authority Form below. Please note all fields marked * must be completed.
Employees who are currently using salary packaging administration services are able to apply to transition from one supplier to another supplier at any time, with requests processed by the salary packaging administrators and employee payroll twice a year, on 1 April and 1 November (Transition Effective Date) as prescribed in Circular C1-18. Employees with outstanding FBT liabilities and/or Bus Travel Benefit debt cannot transition to a New Supplier until their debts are paid. Transition Authority Forms submitted after the cut-off date, will remain on file for processing during the following transition date (see below table).
Please note you will only be eligible to transition to the new provider during the transition period if you have no outstanding FBT liabilities. Additional transition periods will be available throughout the year for employees. It is recommended that you contact your incumbent supplier to:
- advise of your decision to transition
- provide any instructions regarding the ceasing of your salary packaging payments and reconciliation of your account; and
- provide instructions as to any excess fund balances remaining in your account.
Any amendments/variations required to your salary packaging agreement once your transition application has been submitted, will not be actioned until you have fully transitioned. It is also recommended you inform your financial adviser (if applicable) of your intention to transition to the new provider.
Salary packaging is only available to eligible employees of the Queensland Government as per the Standing Offer Arrangement QGP0065-21.
